DESCRIPTION
Avlaki HP of total power of 83,60 MW, is under design and to be constructed on r. Acheloos in western Greece.
It will be consisted of a concrete dam and the power station building plant will be constructed at the dam’s foot.
The total volume of the reservoir at maximum operating level will be 350 x 106 m3.
The reservoir will flood almost 17 Km of the river bed.
According to the Greek legislation a demarcation study needs to be done for the project to be environmentally approved
