DESCRIPTION

Final Design Hydraulic Design and Geotechnical Design of the Old Highway New Bridge at Evinos river, after the failure of the existing one because of serious flood events in December of 2021.

Drop Structure downstream of the New Bridge
Wingwalls, guiding walls and guiding embankments
River diversion arrangements for the water control during the construction stage

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

7 spans bridge with a total length of ~ 243 m
Catchment area: Α = 1.072 Km²
Design flood : Q₁₀₀ = 2.268 m³/s
Total river length of operation : L_tot = 1.050 m
Drop structure of 5,9 m high, a crest of 242 m long, a stilling basin and protection works of the downstream riverbed
