DESCRIPTION
Final Design.
Flood control of the Kontochristos stream from where it meets PATHE Motorway.
Main parts of design:
- Hydraulic adequacy control of the existing transit construction under the PATHE Motorway
- Construction of a new culvert under the PATHE Motorway by PIPE-JACKING
- Construction of an appropriate construction, for the right hydraulic connection of the new culvert with the upstream cross section of the stream
- Construction of an appropriate construction, for the right hydraulic connection of the new culvert with the stream bed
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Catchment area :~9 Km2
- Design flood for T = 50 years : ~30 m3/s
- Pipe Jacking : D = 2,5 m, L~65 m
